in the financial services, real estate and technology business sectors, is the owner
of Sandell Consulting. Mr. Sandell is a results oriented manager with a proven track
record in strategic thinking, management/problem solving resulting in organizational
growth as well as expertise in building businesses that deliver exceptional results.
He has worked with Fortune 100 firms as well as medium and smaller sized businesses,
specializing in quantifying enterprise risks and mitigating exposure. His passion
is building effective teams, departments and companies, using advanced reporting
and sophisticated planning systems. He has organized and led large groups of auditors,
CPAs, attorneys, real estate appraisers and business consultants in managing control
and reporting on multi-billion dollar financial assets.
SANDELL Consulting engagements have included: business strategies, financial models
and business plan development for the veterinarian distribution industry, high-end
auto leasing and financing, IT outsourcing, real estate tax business advisory, and
risk evaluation and financial projection models. He purchased, grew and sold International
Business Electronics, which serviced major high tech display and computer brands.
Senior management positions have included: Industrial Indemnity Financial Corp, a
$13.5 billion Xerox subsidiary, where he was responsible for Portfolio Financial
Services, specializing in large and complex financial guarantee insurance and real
estate products; Homestead Financial Corporation, an asset management group, where
he directed Financial Planning and Strategy for mortgage portfolio acquisitions;
Fox & Carskadon Financial Corporation, the nationwide real estate syndicator, where
he managed Budgeting, Operational and Strategic Planning for the group of companies.
Mr. Sandell holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Tekniska Skolan Hässleholm,
Sweden and an MBA with emphasis in Strategic Planning and Economic Planning & Control
from University of Lund, Sweden. He came to the United States on an academic scholarship
where he completed an MBA in Finance from the University of California at Riverside.
He is a board member of Swedish American Chamber of Commerce (SACC), member of American
Management Association (AMA) and Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
He demonstrates a unique understanding of international and multi-cultural business
practices based on living his life both in Europe and in the United States. His
